Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade grew up idolizing Michael Jordan. Now he's officially switching to Jordan's sneaker.
Nike announced Friday that Wade is shifting his shoe allegiance from Converse to Nike's Jordan Brand.The Jordan Brand is a division of Nike, which also owns Converse. Wade had three years left on his contract with Converse, which had made Wade the centerpiece of its basketball marketing efforts. ''I don't want to be in the Converse brand anymore because it seemed like they didn't know what to do with me,'' Wade told The Associated Press earlier this month. This is a very good business move for him. The Jordan brand is one of the most popular brands in the sneaker world. Kudos to D. Wade good move!!!!
